Over the past few years, my role within the mortgage industry has naturally evolved, in step with the company’s growth and our clients’ needs.
I first worked as a mortgage broker under my personal name, Pierre-Charles Jolicoeur, helping hundreds of clients with their real estate financing projects, whether for the purchase of a first home, refinancing, a renewal, or more complex strategies. This hands-on experience allowed me to develop deep market expertise, a concrete understanding of the financial realities of Quebec households, and a lasting relationship of trust with clients.
Over time, demand increased, the team grew, and the vision became clearer. What began as an individual practice evolved into a structured firm focused on rigour, compliance, and service quality. In this context, my role gradually evolved, shifting from active practice to a management and leadership role.
I am proud to say that today, I hold the position of President of JA Hypothèques. I now devote my time and energy to strategy, regulatory compliance, business development, team management, and supporting the professionals who make up the firm.
This evolution explains the shift from a public presence initially centred on my personal name to a presence now centred on JA Hypothèques. This change is meant to accurately reflect the organization’s current reality: a structured firm, led by a team, with a long-term vision, rather than an individual practice.

These principles continue to guide every decision, both at the leadership level and in the support provided by the firm’s professionals.
